3.3.26 - Jacob Bristol of Cold Spell got the roaster back up and running. I believe he deep deep cleaned it and then some spindle thing had to be replaced as well as a bearing. Notes from Jacob from Jan 2026 during the process: I’ve finally been halted during my epic 8 hour roaster cleaning flow state. The bottom fan and compartments all had half an inch of gunk on every inch but is now clean and spins freely and wonderfully. The front bearing is on and looks beautiful. 

The rear bearing is what’s stopping the party. It’s falling apart on itself and needs to be forced out with a bearing extractor. Y’all have a case for one! But the tool itself is missing… I’ll come back with one soon. Very soon if our local hardware store has one. 

Regardless, I knew I’d have to make another trip. It still needs plenty of cleaning in other, semi important compartments. Plus I’d like your roaster to be around for when it’s finished to go over everything.  I think invoice 000133 for $736.12 covers part/most of this.

4.2.25 - Gave error code “mech error 04”. After a lot of back and forth with tech support, determined that significant damage was caused due to a software update error. They put out an update that more or less broke the machine. New print head installed, deep cleaning of all valves performed… what else did I do… hard to remember. It took forever. Ava.
